With many years of childcare experience within the team at Amberley Hall Nursery, we can provide personal and individual attention to each and every child at our day nursery. To ensure this attention is provided, and to guarantee care and education of a high quality, our staffing ratio is in line with the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
All of our staff are appropriately qualified, and in accordance with statutory requirements, checks are carried out with the Criminal Records Bureau. All our team are first aid trained and hold child protection and food hygiene certificates.
Our appointment of a Nursery Manager is additional to statutory requirements. With all staff holding First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates, you can be assured your child is getting some of the best childcare in Bristol.

By observing and working with so many children and babies I have seen the huge benefits of creative-led play. We have tried to keep the nursery a fun environment with a selection of toys and more natural resources and loose parts. As a nursery this has had a huge benefit, it has encouraged the children to play with each other and problem solve as a team. We have found the children use their imagination much more and develop skills that they may not have done playing with a toy that just has one use. Toys still have their uses and children also develop language and learning with toys so we try to give them a good balance of both.
Teresa Wright

Teresa is a SENCO and Level 3 NVQ qualified.
She has worked at the nursery since 2006.
Teresa has also trained in Child protection, Safeguarding, and Prevent duty.
Karen Hacker
Manager and Safeguarding lead
Karen is Level 3 NVQ qualified and joined the nursery in March 2014. Karen has Level 2 in Behaviour that challenges, Child protection, Safeguarding and Prevent duty.
Karen is our speech and language lead.
Jenna Morgan
Deputy
Jenna has been with us since 2008 she is Level 2 qualified, training for Level 3
Paediatric first aid, Safeguarding and Child protection.
Jess Wallace
Manager/ Baby Room Leader
Jess level 3 NVQ qualified, she is the baby room leader, looking after children aged 0-2 years old.
She has Child protection, Safeguarding and Paediatric first aid. Jess has done specific training for babies.
Anna Foster
Apprentice
Anna is currently an apprentice training with us for Level 3 in Children's learning and development following the intermediate early years practitioner apprenticeship standard.

Nursery assistant and one to one support.

Samiyah has a Level 2 in Childcare.
Rhina Chaves
Rhina has a Level 2 in Childcare.
Fioralba Hoxha
Level 3 Toddler Room Leader
Fioralba joined in February 2020, she is the Toddler Room Leader, looking after ages 2-3 years old.
Gabby Drake
Level 3 Preschool Room Leader
Gabby has her Level 3 and runs the Preschool room, ages 3-5 years old.
