Our mission statement

At Amberley Hall Nursery we aim to make your child’s time with us a happy time. Our day care nursery offers a wide choice of daily activities, both in the nursery and the garden. With your child's safety always our priority, we ensure that all activities are age appropriate to help children learn through play.

The owner Kate Ashplant attends the nursery 4 days a week and is very hands on, getting involved with all the trips especially the muddy beach school. Kate creates some lovely activities that get the children thinking out of the box. Kate is originally a photographer who has now dedicated her life to childcare, some of the activities that Kate supervises and observes are cookery club, science and nature, photography and art. She has recently upgraded several rooms, the discovery room is full of wonderful, unusual, interesting items and objects that the children can explore. The play room has a much more natural environment, bringing the outdoors indoors and lets the children use their imagination.

 

In the nursery, we plan using the Early Years Foundation Stage and observe children to assess their individual needs and plan around them. There is a balance of child led activities and adult led activities.

Our aim at the nursery is to give your child an all round experience, promoting and encouraging their personal development and making them confident to move on to school.
